Gary
Bulmer – Managing Director
It all started with Gary, founder of the original
Abbey Design & Print, now Abbey DPM. Gary
brings over 30 years of marketing, sales, production
and management skills to the business. Gary is
the original action man having played rugby and
football, is an expert
waterskier (including barefoot) and plays off
7 in golf. Oh and he can speak Spanish and Japanese.
(ok, we made up the Japanese bit).
Neil
Horne – Creative Director
Neil joined Abbey in 1994 as Senior Designer,
having previously worked for agencies in the South-East
and London.
Neil has over 15 years experience in all areas
of brand, design and communications having worked
with many big name brands over the years, Compaq, Hewlett Packard, General Electric, Britvic, BAE to name a few
- Neil has managed all this despite being from
Essex. He can also quote the BHP and
0-60mph time
of any sports car.
Ian
Brooks – Operations Director
Ian (aka Mr. B) joined Abbey in 1994 having run
a successful repro-graphics business for many
years. Ian brings over 25 years of experience
in production, workflow and systems skills to
the business. He is also a great thinker, often
having a cunning plan to make us all rich. Ian
is also a tinkerer and DIY expert - he can
build, fix and engineer anything, we all think
he should have been in the A-Team.
Ian
Clapp – Project Manager
Ian (aka Mr. C) joined Abbey in 1994 having run
a successful repro-graphics business for many
years (no this isn’t a cut-and-paste error!).
Ian brings over 20 years of experience in production,
repro and creative skills to the business. Ian
always exudes an eerie sense of calm, we all fear
the day he gets ‘a little annoyed’.
He also has a sixth sense ability to find any
restaurant in London without using Sat-Nav. Spooky. |

Jeff
Seaward – Senior Designer
Jeff joined us in 2002 as a designer. Jeff
has over 10 years design experience having worked
with brands such as Pioneer, Sun Systems and Arjo
Wiggins. Jeff is our resident Film Buff and Star
Wars fanboy. There is NOTHING Jeff doesn’t
know about film and Star Wars. Jeff also drives
a rebuilt Ford Capri and he’s not even from
Essex.
Anil
Parmar – Designer
Anil is our most recent addition having been with
us since 2005. Anil has over 10 years design
industry experience and his logo design for the
2012 Olympic “Back the Bid” competition
was short listed down to the last 10 (from 1100).
He is an avid Liverpool supporter and all his
clothes are picked for him by his wife. (suppose
we should mention she is a fashion designer)
Angela
Kerr – Admin Manager
Angela joined us in 2000 after working at British
Airways. She always wanted to be a trolley dolly
and travel the world in a jet set lifestyle, alas
her talents of organisation were of greater benefit
to BA, as they have been for us. Angela now travels
the world at a slightly slower pace onboard posh
cruise ships.
Susan
Brooks – Finance
Sue was ‘encouraged’ to join the Abbey
gang by her husband Mr B. When she is not using
her giant brain to do sums with a calculator she
enjoys dreaming up new DIY projects for Ian. Like
all of us, Sue is still waiting for that cunning
plan of Ian’s that will make us all rich. |
